I can not say enough positive things about Interventional Pain Specialists of Wisconsin. From Dr. Thorson to his amazing staff in the office and clinic, thank you for all you have done for me. I have been dealing with chronic pain for nearly 19 years now. It was back in 2008 when my wife found Interventional Pain Specialists of Wisconsin and Dr. Brendel. In 2009 Dr. Brendel gave me pain relief with a spinal cord stimulator which helped give pain relief for many years. As my condition worsened over the years and I was beginning to lose hope, Dr. Thorson told me about the Intracept surgery and he believed I was a good candidate for the surgery. I truly appreciate Dr. Thorson and his care for me as his patient. It was back in May 2026 when he performed the Intracept surgery and I now have new found hope as I have been given an amount of pain relief I didn’t think was possible. Thank you Dr. Thorson and to all of the wonderful staff at Interventional Pain Specialists of Wisconsin!!
2 trips so far, and I can sit and bend without pain. I can’t believe it took me three years and I found my miracle clinic in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Dr. Brendel is knowledgeable, explains his diagnosis and the treatment. I’ve tried other pain clinics without help. The whole staff is professional, courteous and efficient. I wish I would’ve known about Dr. Brendel 3 years ago!
